I was awarded a coveted internship at America’s first feminist magazine, Ms. Magazine, co-founded in 1971 by journalist and social/political activist Gloria Steinem.
During my work there, I assisted with all copyediting and copywriting needs, editorial planning, and conducted interviews with directors, legislators, and artists to cultivate original weekly content that drove substantial traffic to the website.
